Dublin Fire Brigade To Host Open Day In Aid Of Suicide Or Survive
Dublin Fire Brigade are hosting an open day this Saturday, April 28th at their Nutgrove station in aid of Irish charity Suicide or Survive.
The event is suitable for the entire family with the opportunity to have a tour of Nutgrove Fire Station, see the fire engines up close and pick firemen and firewomen\’s brains on their daily duties as part of the emergency services.
Face painters, a balloon modeller and also a DJ will be present on Saturday to keep the kids entertained.
Supported by Dublin City Council and Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council\’s events teams, all proceeds from the open day will go directly to Suicide or Survive.
Suicide or Survive is an organisation that breaks down the stigma associated with mental health issues and aims to ensure those affected have access to quality recovery services.
The event takes place from 1pm to 4pm on the day. See you there!
