Real Estate Mogul Brings Cheer to San Francisco
San Francisco had a treasure hunt with a difference yesterday, as residence searched for clues that lead to envelopes of cash left by a friendly real estate mogul. Under the username @HiddenCash, he tweeted the clues to the city wide search and his only request were for people to tweet him a picture and to tag him in return.
His reasons for doing it were to “put a smile on someone’s face” and that he “can afford to give a lot”. He already has plans for his next treasure hunt which will take place in the San Jose area where he’s placed envelopes in museums, parking meters and at the beach. He’s also got plans to do it in LA and New York. The man told KTVU that he regularly gives to charity and that the treasure hunt brings out the best in people. As he’s heard many stories of people giving his ‘hidden cash’ money to worthy causes or sharing it with other people.
